Who we are
This website is run by B&A Developers (B and A Developers), a software studio based in Kisumu, Kenya. We are responsible for the information described here. You can reach us at bandadevelopers2026@gmail.com or on 0794 698 660 or 0792 872 198.
What we collect, and why
When you send us a message through the website
- Your name and a phone or WhatsApp number, so we can reply.
- Your email address, business name and how you heard about us, only if you choose to give them.
- What you need and your message, so we understand how to help.
- Basic technical details about the request, used only to protect the form from spam and abuse.
When you simply visit
- Anonymous visit statistics, such as which pages are popular and the type of device used. They do not identify you and do not follow you to other websites.
- Basic error reports when something on the site breaks, so we can fix it. They do not include what you type into the form.
When you contact us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email
We receive what you send us through those services, which have their own privacy policies.
How we use it
- To reply to you, prepare a quote and talk to you about your project.
- To keep the website safe and working well.
- To understand which parts of the website are useful, without identifying anyone.
We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
How we protect it
Your information is kept by trusted service providers who protect it with encryption and strict access controls, and only the founders of B&A Developers can read your messages. Some of these providers store data outside Kenya; we only use providers that protect personal data to the standard the Data Protection Act requires. We keep what we hold to the minimum we need.
How long we keep it
- Your messages: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client (then for as long as the work and the law require), or until you ask us to delete them.
- Spam protection details: deleted automatically within a day.
Your rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to:
- know how your information is used (this page);
- see the information we hold about you;
- have it corrected;
- have it deleted;
- object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time.
To use any of these rights, email bandadevelopers2026@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp. We answer within 7 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner at odpc.go.ke.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. What the site remembers in your browser is explained in our cookie notice.
Our clients’ privacy
The projects on this website are described without our clients’ names, and the previews are illustrations, not their real screens or data.
Other services
Buttons that open WhatsApp, a phone call, email or a map take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies. The map on our contact page loads only when you ask for it.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. Important changes are shown clearly on the website.
